Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how DilloHub Team (“DilloHub,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the DilloHub mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

Important: We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us.

1) Who We Are

The Service is operated by DilloHub Team. Questions about privacy can be sent to dqgooarhlf1907@outlook.com.

2) Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways: (A) information you provide, (B) information we collect automatically, and (C) information we collect with your permission.

2.1 Information you provide

  • Account information: name, username, and email address (as provided by you).
  • Support communications: content you send to customer support (including any attachments or information you choose to share).
  • User content: text you write into the app (e.g., thoughts, goals, emotions, reflections, timeline settings). By default, these entries are stored locally on your device.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Device information: device model, operating system version, language, app version, and identifiers that may be used for analytics and debugging.
  • Usage data: basic interaction and feature usage statistics to help us understand performance and improve the Service.
  • Crash logs and diagnostic data: information about app crashes, errors, and performance events.

2.3 Location information (only with permission)

If you allow location access, we may collect and use approximate or precise location information, depending on your device settings and permission choices. You can disable location permissions at any time in your device settings.

2.4 Photos and face-related information

  • If you choose to upload a photo or image, we do not perform facial recognition, biometric identification, or create biometric templates.
  • We do not use photos to build marketing profiles.
  • Unless you choose to upload for a specific feature, your content stays on your device by default.

3) Optional AI/Server Processing (User-Controlled)

Some features may offer optional AI-assisted processing (for example, generating prompts, summaries, or reflections based on the content you provide).

If you choose to use these optional features:

  • What is uploaded: only the text and/or images you select for processing.
  • Where it is processed: the selected content is transmitted to DilloHub’s own servers for processing.
  • No third-party sharing: we do not share the uploaded content with any third party for this processing.
  • No training/marketing use: we do not use uploaded content to train models or for advertising/marketing.
  • Deletion after processing: the uploaded content is deleted from our servers immediately after processing is completed (subject to transient technical logs or backups that may retain limited metadata for short periods).
  • Your control: you decide whether to upload and whether to generate output. If you do not opt in, the content remains on your device.

4) Cookies and Similar Technologies

If we provide a web-based experience (such as a website or web login), we may use cookies and similar technologies (which may include web beacons) to maintain login sessions, remember preferences, and improve security and reliability.

You can control cookies through your browser settings where applicable.

5) How We Use Information

  • Provide and maintain the Service (including account creation, login, and feature delivery),
  • Personalize your experience (e.g., preferences and settings),
  • Improve and develop the Service (analytics, performance monitoring, bug fixes),
  • Provide customer support,
  • Protect the Service and users (fraud prevention, abuse detection, security),
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not sell your personal information.

6) How We Share Information

We share information only in the following circumstances, and only to the minimum extent necessary:

  • With your consent: when you explicitly allow sharing or request an action that requires it.
  • With service providers (processors): trusted vendors who process information on our behalf for hosting, analytics, crash reporting, or customer support, subject to contractual safeguards.
  • For legal and safety reasons: to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights and safety, investigate fraud or security issues, or enforce our policies.
  • Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.

7) International Data Transfers

If you access the Service from outside the country where our servers are located, your information may be transferred across borders. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms.

8) Data Security

  • Encryption in transit and (where applicable) encryption at rest,
  • Access controls and least-privilege practices,
  • Regular security reviews/audits,
  • Backups and disaster recovery practices.

No security method is 100% secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

9) Data Retention

  • Account data: retained while your account is active.
  • Account deletion: we delete or anonymize personal data within 30 days after account deletion, unless a longer retention is required by law.
  • Usage analytics: retained for up to 12 months.
  • Customer support communications: retained for up to 6 months (unless needed longer for an ongoing issue or legal obligations).

Local device content is stored on your device by default and remains until you delete it or uninstall the app, unless you choose to upload specific content for optional server processing.

10) Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict/object, withdraw consent (including for location or optional uploads), and request portability where applicable.

To exercise these rights, email dqgooarhlf1907@outlook.com. We aim to respond within 5 business days.

11) Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may display content or links to third-party sites or services. We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices. Please review their policies if you choose to interact with them.

12) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the Effective Date and, where required, provide additional notice in the app or through other reasonable means.
